[...] Wayne asked for some examples of when I misused authenticity. It’s not a totally fair question since he already knows/experienced/was an accomplice to many of those times. But Wayne has never been fair. Entertaining, funny, sarcastic, and loyal but never fair. Love ya’, bro. [...]

Oh, I realize the blog is in fact a testament to many of the milestones...but I look forward to some reflection in retrospect. Front row??? Heck, I think I was on the playing field a few times.

Wayne - this blog is a testimony to many of those failures! ha ha... In fact, you had a front row seat for many of those moments. :)

But...I will take you up on the challenge. More to come in the days ahead.

David H - you are a kind man to us.

The biggest difference Pastor English that i have watch from the rear part of the Church. Has to do with your humility and love for your family and your Master. Pastor English God will move you into different areas. All the present people seem to love you and care for you and the First Lady of the Church. We have been hurt, but your honeymoon will not last for ever. Whatever you do Pastor do not let other Pastors influence your goals and leadership style. God called you to Western Hills Baptist Church and to lead this flock will take a very close walk with the Master. Pastor keep your eyes on the Master. I love the way you always have time for your wife and children. God Bless your day!

awesome. G, why don't you lay out some of the milestones over the last few years that have brought you to the point of this parallel between authenticity and humility? Where were some of the turning points in seeing that you used 'authenticity' as an excuse for lack of maturity?
