Genius Bar Blues

Apple ought to serve alcohol at the Genius Bar. I’m heading there this morning to take my PowerBook G4.

It’s running fast, great but no sound. It’s the sound card only PowerBooks don’t have a sound card. They have a sound section on the motherboard…which means…to get sound, you have to replace the motherboard.

Makes for a great tiny, slim, sleek laptop but a major repair if the sound goes out.

Anyway, I know I’m going to miss my PowerBook for at least a week, the least they could do is let me have a Fat Tire with it before it goes out the door. It’s called a Bar anyway.

Live music would be nice too.

I’ll still be posting and emailing…just on the PoC we’ve got at the office and home.

Wait, I thought that you had an Apple product. I am confused. Was it a Microsoft Vista problem or a problem with Microsoft Office? Maybe you should stay with Windows XP …

No, my Windows XP runs like a sloth on depressants. Or a two year old spoiled brat child – doesn’t like to play with others.

Besides that, if I’d drop my Windows the way I did my Apple, it would have blown up into a million pieces.

That’s just the airbag deploying to protect the Intel chip. =0)

But you could have also taken it to like 1,000 stores within a mile radius of your home and be up and running by now.

I’m still with danny though…I thought they never went down? I don’t recall seeing this one on those Apple commercials…

they don’t go down without a reason…like dropping it.

My pc gets up and decides just to have a bad day for no reason. Or it doesn’t like the color purple.
