World Series Prediction
Alright…enough of the experts on ESPN, FOX, TBS, and EIEIO.
Time for the G sides nation to predict.
Boston has outstanding pitching, clutch hitters, a big green nasty wall, a fantastic venue to play in, wonderful history, and a cool looking logo – the ever simple but dignified “B”.
Colorado has pitiful owners, great venue, outstanding defense, solid batters, a relaxed “tell it like it is” manager, and about 14 different uni combinations to choose from (but most of the state loves the black).
[As an aside - the purple tops are okay but the total pinstripe look is not good. The purple on the pins isn't the same purple on the cap...if they wear that cap...they could wear the all black cap. See? Way to many options.]
The team with the best record versus the hottest team on the hottest streak in MLB history.
What will give?
The Rox will bring it home…..
in 4.
A sweep.
And if they don’t…then they’ll win in 5 or 6 or 7.

You might still win the series and that’s all that matters but I would have bet you my house they would have never swept the Sox.

Besides that, pinstripes are evil. Maybe that’s why Jesus Hates the Yankees. Don’t be evil.

When I saw this I had to comment. I hate Boston, but you’re probably right.

They’ve just put out an Amber Alert for the Rockies.
We’ll know more by 6pm tonight.
i’ll be surprised if the rockies score 4 runs this series, let alone win 4 games.
i love you, but your pick is borderline insane.
see, the thing some people dont realize is that josh beckett cant pitch every game. dice k and schilling can be hit and scored on. also, dont forget the rocks havent played real baseball in 8 eight days prior to this game. it will be different the next two games.
Still it’s tough to compete when they can put up 13 runs on you, whether or not Beckett is on the mound. It’ll probably go 5 games.
Can I just say, before Grant moved to Colorado he really didn’t care about baseball…….haha. Sox will win, I agree with Turner 5 games.

You could still be right if “Rox” is short for “Red Sox”
1-1 mid fifth. If the Rox lose a close one, I think it will be time to stick the proverbial fork in them. Tough to come back from a squashing, then lose a nail-biter.
It might be a lot closer if Rox pitchers would stop walking batters.
But then again, they could always blame it on the layoff.
