Pre-Run Jitters

Amy runs in the Little Rock Marathon tomorrow morning. Actually she is running in the half-marathon. Which is exactly 13 more miles than I’ll ever run.

They are live webcasting the race. We drove the route today – it is actually a very cool race route – by The Trailer aka Clinton Library, Alltel Arena, Governor’s Mansion, Central High, Freemason’s Church, the Capitol, and a Church’s Chicken.

Basically, it’s a running tour of most of the highlights in The Rock.

I’m so stinkin’ proud of her. I’ll post pictures tomorrow.

Go Amy!!! We’ll be cheering all the way from Budapest as we sit around on the couch and eating and watching TV too much. Thanks for reminding us what a bunch of lazy slobs we are :)

This “running” thing sounds a lot like that new fad “jogging”, or maybe it’s “yogging”…I’m not sure if the ‘J’ is silent or not.

How’d you do, Amy? Was this your first? Your PR?

The Budapest Half Marathon is just around the corner.
